The following tests were conducted in studio by an independent professional photographer.

This trial addresses many of your questions concerning power, distance, weight and accessories. It also gives you an exact idea of the amount of light to use under specific conditions.

The photos below were taken under the same conditions and using the same equipment.

Materiel used:

• Two ROLOLIGHT™ 25'' SOFTBOX PROKITS, each equipped with 8 Philips 24W HO 6500K daylight tubes for a total of 16 lamps.
• Three LIGHTTOOLS® SOFT EGG CRATES, 30, 40 and 50, degrees
• One ROLOLIGHT™ 15'' SOFTBOX Starter KIT equipped with 4 KINO FLO 8W 5600K daylight tubes was used a few times.
• One 4' x 8' white board to the left of the model and another in the model's hands

The two ROLOLIGHT™ SOFTBOXES remained in the same position and the same distance from the model throughout the photo session. Only the accessories and the position of the ROLOLIGHT in front of the model were changed during the session, flat and multi angle, with or without Soft Egg Crate and with or without diffuser.
